Sometimes my life spins so rapidly, I have a hard time catching up with it, much less thoroughly absorbing and milking every glorious moment. I just came across this “old” video footage (2013) of my arrangement for flute and orchestra when I performed it with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Olivier Ochanine. The whole experience was golden for me from all the people I met, everyone who shared with me, from the orphaned girls, to the wonderfully talented and kindhearted musicians, and the Ambassador of Chile who graciously housed me during my stay. I was speechless after my trip there, but as I was whisked away onto the next glorious stop, I didn’t have much time to really absorb it all. Thank goodness for this video and all the wonderful pictures that remain as gleaming tokens along my glorious path.
