When I was a student at The Juilliard School, I used to sponsor a child in need in Chile through a non-profit organization. And through the years, I have presented countless children’s shows across the globe. For example, in October 2012, I presented an interactive show for kids of the Jody O’Shea Orphanage in Denpasar, Bali. From this moment on, I decided that it was important to not only continue visiting orphanage across the globe, but also to offer financial contributions as well. We here in the West live so abundantly. There are so many places across the planet that have absolutely nothing. After performing as a soloist in Manila with the Philippines Philharmonic, I visited and performed for an orphanage in Manila. And then in Jakarta, I had the pleasure of performing for an orphanage, too.
Below are some of the organizations that I support financially every year. I hope you will consider sending contributions as well. Every contribution is important. No matter how small a donation is, I guarantee that it will make a difference in a child’s life. I’d love to hear from you, too. Where have you contributed and what moved you to do so?
In peace,
-Viviana
